چکیده

Anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) is a histological subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, largely characterized by anaplastic kinase (ALK) positivity, resulting from the chromosomal translocation t(2;5). We report pediatric case ALK-positive ALCL with primary concomitant involvement bone and central nervous system (CNS); thereafter, literature review about CNS was conducted. According to analyzed data, our unique because it contemporary spine CNS. During after chemotherapy, patient monitored detecting minimal residual disease (MRD) through analysis fusion transcript nucleophosmin-ALK. MRD assessment, not only in marrow but also peripheral blood, seems be very powerful tool for predicting prognosis patients, as already described literature. Moreover, shown case, could used during follow-up early recognition relapse.

Primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) is a rare cancer that confined to the brain, spinal cord, leptomeninges and eyes. The origin of this type of lymphoma is often type B lymphocytes, and because the central nervous system (CNS) has no lymph nodes or lymphatic vessels, the cause of PCNSL is still uncertain (1). But its source appears to be from lymphocytes located in the CNS (2). Thi...

Cutaneous Anaplastic Large T-Cell Lymphoma with Invasion of the Central Nervous System: A Case Report

Anaplastic large T-cell lymphoma (ALCL) encompasses different clinical entities that can be aggressive or localized. Scalp anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-negative ALCL is considered a localized lymphoma, and usually extends to the regional lymph nodes; intracranial invasion is rare.
